The
Great
Smoky Mountain blanket first
appeared
in Fall 1997. It
was the first blanket
to
honor a national
park east of the Mississippi,
a new direction
for
Pendleton.
In 2002 it was
recolored
to a
dark green body reflective of
its
lush forested namesake.
This
blanket was
discontinued
by Pendleton in 2008.
