The Santa Fe blanket was introduced on February 1, 1928.
It had felt bound ends and featured three large horizontal 
zig zags with small arrowheads or trees in the valleys.  It came in 
five body colors: straw, drab, white, red and terra cotta, with 
complimentary desert colors used for the decorative arrowhead
and zigzag elements.  Four points were sewn into the lower 
right hand corner of the center field.  It wore a standard
Pendleton blanket label instead of a National Park label, 
but was grouped with National Park blankets in 1928.

The Santa Fe blanket appeared in 1928.  Here it is in terra cotta:

The Santa Fe blanket was reintroduced in 2005
in brown and red (below), but was discontinued in 2008.
